Ο σωστός συντονισμός των εμπλεκομένων και η συνεργασία των πολιτών είναι το κλειδί για την πρόληψη και αντιμετώπιση των δασικών πυρκαγιών. Αυτό είναι ο συμπέρασμα της συνεδρίασης του Συντονιστικού Τοπικού Οργάνου Πολιτικής Προστασίας του Δήμου Πωγωνίου που συνεδρίασε σήμερα κατόπιν εντολής της Γενικής Γραμματείας Πολιτικής Προστασίας.

Το επόμενο χρονικό διάστημα, έως και τις αρχές Σεπτεμβρίου κρίνεται επικίνδυνο για την εκδήλωση πυρκαγιών στο Νομό Ιωαννίνων και κρίνεται απαραίτητη οι επαγρύπνηση όλων των φορέων.

Ο Δήμαρχος κ. Κωνσταντίνος Καψάλης στην τοποθέτησή του αναφέρθηκε στις δράσεις του Δήμου που τον θέτουν σε διαρκή ετοιμότητα και εξήρε την αγαστή συνεργασία μεταξύ των εμπλεκομένων φορέων ενώ αναφέρθηκε στην ευθύνη των πολιτών στον καθαρισμό των οικοπέδων.

Στη συνεδρίαση συμμετείχαν ο Δήμαρχος Πωγωνίου κ. Κωνσταντίνος Καψάλης, ο Αντιδήμαρχος κ. Κων/νος Γκέγκας, ο Προϊστάμενος Πολιτικής Προστασίας της Περιφέρειας κ. Δημήτρης Μαυρογιώργος, ο Διοικητής Πυροσβεστικών Υπηρεσιών Ν. Ιωαννίνων κ. Απόστολος Βασδέκης, ο διοικητής του Β’ Πυροσβεστικού Σταθμού Ιωαννίνων κ. Φώτης Δεληγιάννης, ο Διοικητής 8ης ΕΑΝ κ. Χαράλαμπος Δελλής, ο Διοικητής του Α.Τ. Δελβινακίου κ. Ιωάννης Πριάβαλης και ο εκπρόσωπος του Δασαρχείου κ. Νικόλαος Βρακότας.
