ΣΥΓΧΡΟΝΗ ΠΛΑΤΕΙΑ ΘΑ ΑΠΟΚΤΗΣΕΙ ΤΟ ΚΑΛΠΑΚΙ

Με γοργούς ρυθμούς προχωρούν οι εργασίες για την ολοκλήρωση της σύγχρονης πλατείας που θα αποκτήσει σύντομα το Καλπάκι, έδρα του Δήμου Πωγωνίου.

Πρόκειται για το έργο «Ανάπλαση – διαμόρφωση κοινοχρήστων χώρων Τ.Κ. Καλπακίου που έχει ενταχθεί στο Πράσινο Ταμείο και αφορά στην ανάπλαση και διαμόρφωση σε πλατεία, με τμήμα πεζοδρόμου, του χώρου έμπροσθεν του κτιρίου του Δημαρχείου και του Ιερού Ναού Αγίας Παρασκευής, καθώς το Καλπάκι στερούνταν έως σήμερα, την ύπαρξη πλατείας.

Στόχος του έργου είναι η λειτουργική και αισθητική αναβάθμιση ενός πολιτισμικού και διοικητικού μετώπου του οικισμού και η απόδοση χαρακτήρα ΣΥΓΧΡΟΝΗΣ ΠΛΑΤΕΙΑΣ  και κοινωνικών δράσεων, προτείνοντας επεμβάσεις για την αξιοποίηση και ανάδειξη του πολιτισμικού και φυσικού πλούτου της περιοχής.

 Ο Δήμος προχώρησε στη μελέτη και αυτή τη στιγμή εκτελούνται εργασίες ανάπλασης και διαμόρφωσης της ζώνης που βρίσκεται δυτικά της Εθνικής Οδού Ιωαννίνων- Κοζάνης, μπροστά από το Κτίριο του Δημαρχείου, διαστάσεων περίπου 14,00x68,00μ. και έκτασης 1100,00τ.μ.

 Προβλέπεται η διαμόρφωση μιας σύγχρονης πλατείας και η επέκταση χώρων αναψυχής και περιπάτου με την κατασκευή ενός πεζοδρόμου ο οποίος διοχετεύει την ήπια κυκλοφορία και περιήγηση των επισκεπτών στις επιμέρους επεμβάσεις που αφορούν νέα σημεία στάσης και θέασης, ενσωματώνοντας τις υπάρχουσες χρήσεις.

Η διατήρηση του συνόλου της χλωρίδας, η χρήση φιλικών προς το περιβάλλον υλικών  και ο σεβασμός στις συνήθειες των κατοίκων και επισκεπτών της περιοχής συνιστούν τους άξονες της πρότασης για την ανάπλαση ενός χώρου ικανού να αποτελέσει ισχυρό  πόλο έλξης προσδίδοντας κίνηση και ζωή σε χώρο που μέχρι σήμερα εξυπηρετεί μόνο ανάγκες διέλευσης και στάθμευσης αυτοκινήτων.
