ΜΗΝΥΜΑ ΔΗΜΑΡΧΟΥ ΠΩΓΩΝΙΟΥ κ. ΚΩΝ/ΝΟΥ ΚΑΨΑΛΗ ΓΙΑ ΤΗΝ ΠΑΓΚΟΣΜΙΑ ΗΜΕΡΑ ΕΘΕΛΟΝΤΗ ΑΙΜΟΔΟΤΗ

«Η 14η Ιουνίου έχει καθιερωθεί από τον Παγκόσμιο Οργανισμό Υγείας, τον Ερυθρό Σταυρό και την Ερυθρά Ημισέληνο, ως Παγκόσμια Ημέρα του Εθελοντή Αιμοδότη.

Σήμερα τιμούμε κάθε εθελοντή αιμοδότη που επιδεικνύει αλτρουισμό,  προσφέροντας στον συνάνθρωπό του το αίμα του, χαρίζοντάς του ζωή.

Η εθελοντική αιμοδοσία είναι ένδειξη πολιτισμού και στη χώρα μας, παρά το γεγονός ότι η αλληλεγγύη είναι χαρακτηριστικό γνώρισμα των Ελλήνων, οι ανάγκες για αίμα παραμένουν σε υψηλό επίπεδο. Ας προχωρήσουμε όλοι συλλογικά σε αυτή την έμπρακτη έκφραση ανιδιοτέλειας και ας αφιερώσουμε 10’ από τον χρόνο μας, προσφέροντας  ένα δώρο ζωής σε αυτούς που το χρειάζονται.
